Sumary of Fashion’s transparency continues to disappoint according to 2022 Fashion Revolution index:
- In its report, Fashion Revolution found that just eight proportion of names actually published their acts on racial and ethnic equality in their supply shackles.
- Highlighting new legislations around greenwashing, Fashion Revolution expressed concern for names not delivering in this area.
- As a response, Fashion Revolution said it was faction up with its alliances to open ‘Good Clothes, Fair Pay’, a crusade require for living wage legislation across the garment, textile and footwear industries.
- Transparency empowers civil society and people’ negotiators and until names publicly tell all the message necessary to hold them responsible for their contacts, being un-transparent feels like a deliberate strategy to reinforce the states quo.
