Sumary of Armani turnover up 20% in first half:
- Sales in the company’s own boutiques, which account for more than half of the total turnover, increased by 37%.
- “I am cautiously optimistic about the future, thanks to the incredible growth in 2021, as well as the excellent results of the first half of this year,” commented Giorgio Armani, CEO and Chairman of the Board of Directors of the group.
- Last year, the Italian group returned to profitability – in the second half of the year, its turnover exceeded pre-pandemic levels.
- The Milan Group posted an EBIT of 171.2 million euros against an operating loss of 29.5 million euros in 2020.
